Twitter is one of the most popular social networking site today. There are millions of people around the world connecting and communicating through Twitter. Most people want to be connected to their Twitter account even when they are on the go. The only way to do this is to carry their laptop or their iPad around or they can connect their cellphone to their Twitter account. Since you don't want to bring your heavy laptop around all day, it's better if you can access your Twitter account on your cellphone.

First of all, Twitter is a micro blogging site where you can post anything or send updates or in Twitter term "tweets" to your friends and to anyone. If your cellphone is connected to your Twitter account, you can receive and send Twitter updates straight into your cellphone. Here's how you can link Twitter with your cellphone.

Visit the Twitter website and log in to your account. Go to the settings page and you will see the tab for mobile phones, go ahead and click on it. You will go to a page where you will be required to select your country or what country you are currently located. Then you have to enter your cellphone number. After you have completed the two steps and you are sure of the information, you can now click on the start button. You can just wait for notification to be sent to your cellphone and when you receive it your phone is now fully connected to your twitter account.

You can now send tweets anywhere and all you need is your phone to keep you connected. If you receive any updates or messages on your Twitter account, it will be sent to your cellphone instantly.
